The Alipingala Project is a dedicated tree plantation initiative aimed at revitalizing and enriching the surroundings of Dakhina Chandi Temple in Alipingala, Puri. Through this green movement, hundreds of  medicinal indigenous species of trees like ashoka, Tulsi ,bubble, Neem, wood apple etc have been implanted along with coconut trees, areca nut trees and flowering plants. have already been successfully planted, transforming the landscape into a more vibrant and environmentally sustainable space.

In the coming phases, the project will expand to include a diverse range of native and fruit-bearing tree species to enhance biodiversity and strengthen the local ecosystem. This initiative not only improves environmental balance but also contributes to soil conservation, better air quality, and long-term ecological sustainability.By creating a greener temple environment, the project blends spiritual heritage with environmental responsibility, ensuring that the sacred surroundings remain peaceful, sustainable, and nurturing for future generations.
